ARTchitectural Landmarks Through Artist's Eyes Artchitectural Landmarks multimedia book, DVD production and touring exhibition is now in progress. Our most distinguished architects and designers are invited to play a key role in the making of the book. They will showcase and speak about their green world architectural projects that comprise one chapter of the book. It will be published through the publishing arm of MCAD. The book features the ROM and the AGO on the front and back covers as well as their history in the making. We have garnered the attention from award winning design firms and renowned authors.
Our long term goal is to have our hosting cities mayors and the PAN AM committee present this book as a gift to the world leaders and winning athletes. Along with the book's accompanying exhibition in a proposed MCAD Canadian pavilion at the 2015 PAN AM games athletes' village in the West Don Lands complex.
Don Lands communities will be built to the LEED Gold standard with over 15 flat green roofs tieing in with our green world architecture preview presentation at the Canada Blooms 2010 where we are introducing the solar green house Kristal Pyramid concept as a possible build option for the green roofs.
